What we are learning this week
Math: In math we are still relating decimals to fractions and making benchmark connections. We will be starting our multiplication facts test soon. We will take Math MAP on Wednesday. We had some fabulous homework projects and look forward to even more creativity and connections, as they show off their creative skills with their knowledge and understanding of our concepts.
Science: We are completing our first ELM with a parent expert. Thank you Mr. Karlheim for your willingness to be a guest speaker. We are launching our plant unit this week.
Reading: Students will be reading fables and legends and determining the theme of these books. They will also practice using context clues to determine the meaning of unknown words.
