Dear Parents,
Thank you for all you do!

Classroom Updates
1. Water Bottles:
Students should bring a water bottle to school daily. It limits contact with germs at the water fountain and limits having students out of the room for drinks. If your child needs a water bottle, please let me know and we can get one for them.
2. iPads:
iPads should be fully charged each night for school. We do not have extra iPad chargers at school, so if an iPad dies, a student will be without it for the day. We use the iPad often for assignments, so it is important to have it fully charged. If your child's charger is missing or not working, please let me know and I can get them a new one.
3. Homework:
Students will have Math homework each night. If they finish it throughout the day, I ask that they read for 20 minutes at home to practice their stamina.
Students will be bringing their Apply workbooks home for each Module. They will complete the work for the lesson we did that day as their homework.
**Each apply book has helpful strategies/mini lessons on the task before the workbook pages.
Stamina- how long they can read without stopping :)
4. Strings:
Students participating in Strings will need to bring their instrument every Monday and Wednesday. This occurs during school from 3-3:30 on these days.
5. Cold Weather:
As the weather is getting colder, please make sure your student is bringing a jacket/coat to school. They will be required to wear them out to recess when needed or will have to borrow one from the nurse. However, the nurse does not always have coats and will not have enough to supply one for each individual child.
