Ventana Vistas

January 9th-15th, 2019

Hope you all enjoyed time with the family over our Winter Break! We are happy to be back to our typical routines. We reviewed our expectations of being kind, safe and responsible in the classroom, in the lunchroom, on the playground, and while moving around campus.

Did you know that we are always looking for academic volunteers? If you are interested in helping a teacher during the school day in the classroom, library, lunchroom or playground, become an Academic Volunteer. It's simple. Just complete an orientation, then view all of the volunteer opportunities at Ventana Vista and sign up for what works for you.

Email for more information.

Our January Family of the Month--The Harmony Family

Meet the Harmony Family!

Dane and Cynthia Harmony have lived in Tucson for almost 10 years. Dane is from Tucson and Cynthia is from Mexico City. Their daughter, Maya, is in first grade and she has a younger brother, Kai. This is their second year at Ventana Vista. They enjoy traveling, camping and love their dogs and Mexican food. They think the best thing about VV is the Spanish immersion program and the great teachers and staff!

Special Request from the Library

Let's start the new year by returning all of the books checked out last semester. Don't let too much time pass or those books will really be lost! We want them back so other students can enjoy them and so your children can check out new ones! If you have any questions or want to pay for lost books, email Ms. Suzy at
