ATTENTION RISING 8TH GRADERS
- If your current 8th grade student is planning to apply to Thomas Jefferson (TJ) High School for Science and Technology next school year, please note that some of the admission requirements have changed.

Irish American Heritage Month
- In addition to celebrating Women's History this month, March is also Irish American Heritage Month.

SOL TESTS IN MAY - OPT OUT INFO
Virginia has mandated that the following SOL tests take place in-person at school on a designated day in May:
6th graders - math and reading
7th graders - math and reading
8th graders - science, math and reading
If you would like to opt your student out of taking the May SOL tests, please fill out the appropriate Opt Out form as soon as possible.
WHERE IS OREO?
- Oreo is Farmwell's beloved bunny. The FWS Library has launched the Where is Oreo? book game in which FWS students work together to read and log books so they can unlock clues to help find Oreo! Ask your student about the latest clues!

REQUEST A LIBRARY BOOK - CHANGES
Hybrid students can now request library books to be delivered to their English classrooms on their in-person days.
Distance Learning Curbside Pick Up:
Mondays 7:30am to 4:00pm
Wednesdays 8:30am to 3:30pm
Thursdays 8:30am to 3:30pm
YEA APPLICATION NOW OPEN
- The Young Entrepreneurs Academy Class of 2022 application is now open! YEA is a 7-month program that transforms middle and high school students into real-life entrepreneurs and business owners.

VIRTUAL WELLNESS SEMINAR
- The Prevention Alliance of Loudoun (PAL) is sponsoring a Spring Break Youth Virtual Wellness Seminar open to all Loudoun middle and high school students on April 1 from 11am-4pm.

- Please mark your calendars! Consider dropping by Texas Roadhouse at 19990 Riverside Commons Plaza between 4-10pm on May 3 and 10% of your purchase will go to the Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. Be sure to mention the fundraiser when purchasing your food.

RISING GRADE INFORMATION
Click on the following link pertaining to your student for more Rising Grade information including video presentations, course selections and elective options, math curriculum information, and important dates. If you have questions, please contact your student's counselor.
SPRING BREAK IS COMING!
- Just a reminder that spring break is scheduled for the week of March 29 through April 2. We hope you enjoy this time off with your families!
FREE STUDENT MEALS
WALK-UP SERVICE
- Meals can be picked up at FWS on Mondays through Fridays from 10:30am to 1:30pm at the B-3 entrance.
BUS STOP PICK-UP SERVICE
- Bus stop deliveries will be on Mondays only with all meals (breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner) for the week being delivered on Mondays. Families can find their nearest bus stop and delivery time by using the Interactive Map.
FUN FRIDAYS
- Our next Fun Friday is Wear Green - Luck of the Irish Day on March 19.
- Parents - feel free to upload photos of your student's Fun Friday outfits for the yearbook. Click HERE to learn more.
