We Are Lincoln! The 3 R's to Success
Over the last 2 weeks, students have been introduced to the new Lincoln Positive Behavior initiative. Today, students were engaged in a short assembly to review what they learned in class and to reinforce our plan for success this school year. Similar to the presentation that was presented at Curriculum Night, you can click here to access the information shared with students earlier today. You are welcome to click on the links embedded in the presentation that are read alouds that support each "R."

Mileage Club
Mileage Club is looking to start up again in mid-September, but first we need volunteers to help count laps during recess. Mileage Club is open to all 1st-5th grade students during recess on Tuesdays and Thursdays in September-November (weather permitting). Students come out and run or walk as many laps as they would like, volunteers keep track of how many laps students run, and then students earn key chain prizes each month as they reach certain mileage goals. No running experience needed for volunteers, this is just a great opportunity to volunteer during the day!
Volunteers can sign up to help as often as works in their schedule. Volunteers typically come one Tuesday or Thursday a week or once every other week and work 1-3 recess periods at a time. (Younger siblings are welcome to accompany their parents during volunteer time.) Please email Katie Enright at KathleenEEnright@yahoo.com to sign up to volunteer. Please include your day (Tuesday and/or Thursday) preference and recess period interest and availability.
Recess periods are:
1st grade: 12:05-12:35
4th/5th grade: 12:35-1:05
2nd/3rd grade: 1:00-1:30
