The first Wednesday in October makes a perfect time for our PTA to celebrate National Walk to School Day. Not only does the day encourage getting some exercise, but the weather is usually perfect for walking to school, too.

Walking is one of the best forms of exercise, so the goal of this day is to raise awareness and support for the health, sense of community and environmental benefits of regularly walking to school if you are able to do so.

We will observe this day by asking families to walk their children to school. Students should not walk alone but with a parent or guardian. Enjoy the weather and please post on social media using the hashtag “walk to school day”

Our amazing PTA will be here to greet you with refreshments!
