Hello Spanish Springs High School Families,
Today we had our first indoor assembly in three years and it was awesome! It was great to see our choir and band perform again. Our ROTC presented the colors and the competition cheer squad did an amazing job with a great routine! We also celebrated and featured our wrestling and basketball teams in a friendly game of dodgeball. Well done student leadership putting the assembly together!
If you haven't yet, please come out and support our baseball and softball programs. They are off to a great start and we are looking forward to their season. Sadly, our spring production, 100 Years of Broadway has been canceled. We tried our best to make it happen; however, due to staffing shortages and multiple student obligations, the show cannot go on as planned. We apologize and are confident we will secure a theatre teacher for the upcoming school year. Our long term substitute is planning on doing mini performances each period and we appreciate their dedication to the program!
On a happy note, our staff has been working tirelessly with the district and our heating and cooling system and it will be fixed and ready for us when we return after break.
