Learn about some of the most remarkable women in history.
Number Five: Rose Greenwood
Rose Greenhow was a underestimated young woman who turned out to be a great spy. She was resilient and determined, always dedicated to her missions. She started her espionage career after her husband and five of her eight children died. Rose often used her high social status to gain secret information for the confederacy from politicians and diplomats. She spied on them in Washington Dc for the south during the civil war.
Number Four: Belle Boyd
Belle Boyd is a very impressive spy who dedicated her life serving our country. She was loyal and very mysterious which always helped her stay one step ahead. When she was seventeen she shot and killed a man who broke into her home and verbally disrespected her mother. Belle made it clear she would only let that happen once. She was very good at tricking enemies into revealing secrets.
Number Three: Violette Szabo
Violette Szabo
Violette was very msart and brave. She killed her enemies when necessary and always put her country first. She went through training fast and knew how to sabotage her enemies. Nothing was too hard for Violette which is why I place her in third place. She was unique, and was never afraid to do what she had to do.

Number Two: Virginia Hall
Virginia Hall
Virginia Hall was a hardworking woman who was dangerous and cunning. She had a lot of passion for serving her country and when her dangerous career in the field was over her loved curating the CIA museum educating people of its history. Although Virginia Hall was ruthless she had a soft lady like side to her, but she was still greatly feared by the gestapo. She killed many German soldiers and was never captured. She is most deserving of second place.
Number 1: Princess Noor Inayat Kahn
I think the Indian Princess Noor Inayat Kahn is the greatest female spy in history. She was more than just a princess, she was an elite spy and the first radio operator to aid the french resistance. She never revealed any covert information to the gestapo who brutally interrogated her. She always remained trustworthy and would die with honor. The only way to stop her was to kill her, eventually she was tortured and killed, but died with the honor of never betraying her country.
