News From The View

Skyview Upper Elementary School

From Mrs. Berical

Dear Families,

Our Skyview Strong fundraiser is up and running! Our students earned music in the morning during arrival today and a hat day on Monday, October 24! We are grateful for all of the generous donations that continue to come in and support our school community. So far, we have raised over $10,000! Please consider registering your child for the fundraiser if you have not done so already. Registration is free and easy.

Next week is National Character Counts week! We will celebrate our good character at Skyview with a Spirit Week that will recognize each pillar and its meaning. Please be sure to read the schedule below so that your child can participate in the spirit week if they wish.

Spirit Wear Days:

  • Monday, October 17th: Skyview/Methacton Spirit Wear: wear your spirit wear or the colors green and white to show your school pride!
  • Tuesday, October 18th: "Team Up for Digital Citizenship" and wear your favorite sports team/gear
  • Wednesday, October 19th: "Watch Digital Footprint" and wear wild/crazy socks
  • Thursday, October 20th: "Make healthy decisions online" and wear exercise clothes
  • Friday, October 21st: Recognize our responsibility to be respectful citizens online and wear green, yellow or purple for responsibility, respect and citizenship

Have a wonderful weekend!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Berical

Breakfast

Beginning Monday, October 17, breakfast will be served in the cafeteria rather than the grab and go cart. If your child plans to get breakfast, it is extremely helpful if they have their student ID as this helps students move through the line more efficiently. Please encourage your child to have their ID ready when entering the cafeteria. Your help in addressing this matter is greatly appreciated.
