Nazareth Protestant Community
April 9, 2016
This is one of a couple times of the year when I can feel the anxiety level rising and rising. The days close in on us. Sleep is in short supply. Some of us just hope to make it through finals, just hope to have something to turn in for a final paper or project. Some people thrive on this kind of pressure, too. And even if we are that kind of person, we might still give our friend a death stare when they say, "Eh. It's not so bad. I wrote all of my papers a month ago and only have one test to study for."
Whether you are giving or receiving death stares, know that you are not alone. We are all in this together. On Sunday, in our Holy Humor service, Lynne Boucher, chaplain and director of CFS quoted Julian of Norwich.
"All shall be will, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well."
All will be well, friends. Hang in there. If you need a break or a chance to vent, come by and see me! I have chocolate. Also, you should come to Protestant Worship to hear senior, Paul Lippert, preach on Romans 12:12:
Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.
Blessings,
Nadia
