Nests for Birds by Amelia Maxson
Mrs. Bakos second grade class is going to learn about birds. We are going to put nets up in the trees with string weaved through it. We will hang it up in the tree and then birds will come and take the string to make their nests with it. The string will be different colors so we will be able to tell that the bird is using our string for their nests.

Irish Step Dance by Makenna Monroe
Irish Step Dance
By:Makenna Monroe
Have you ever seen a stage full of girls hopping around with curly wigs on?
Irish dancing practice comes every Monday,at the Trumansburg Conservatory. First we practice warm ups. One of the warm ups are called burpees. This is how you do burpees, first jump up in the air like a frog than do a push up. We have to do 30 burpees, it is a lot of work and we only get one water break!
In May we have a performance and we wear a special outfit. This year it is black and white. We wear wigs and special shoes called ghillies.
It is a lot of fun. I like how we do a lot of hopping and the music is really “irishy” and sounds like the ocean. Irish dancing is a really fun and interesting sport.

Napping
I want to nap at school. Pre-K gets to why can't 3rd through 5th grade students? How about we bring blankets. or mats to school and then after lunch we can take a little sleep. When kids take naps they feel rested and when they wake up they pay attention better. i think that we should have nap time in 4th grade. What do you think?March jokes By Emily and Ethan Smith

MORNIN
Now , the one way to start the day is by waking up! So, I opened my eyes to wake up to be exact, then I made a godzilla like“yawn!” But, I admit , I woke up early, then I took a nap and it was 7:15 and I was soo tired. My eyes were half shut. I know I could never start with a perfect morning, which makes me look bad at school(I know it doesn't matter). Yet, I do take school seriously ( some would say too seriously)!
Texting p.s. this happened last week after school [will a friend]
Hi M&M! How is school going?

(I know it does seems ordinary in that a normal elementary school, but that was a little cowbell the teacher/Mrs.Heart got from Mr.Heart for their 10th anniversary.)Then Mrs.Heart with a large, wrinkly, elder, smile.
She said “I’m glad you liked working Miss.Black! You know you got a 100% on your exam - geometry. I told Mrs.Done, and she was very proud!”Oh my goodness,A teacher complemed me,plus bonus!More Weird But True By Ethan Smith
