We Engage We Educate We Inspire
Hello Stallions!
I thought I would share some of the amazing things that happened at the Ranch last week. The items below are in no particular order:
- Some of our ALP students successfully wrote responses that used evidence to back up their opinions and thesis statements.
- In 1st Grade, some of our students made models of constellations with marshmallows and toothpicks.
- Some of our 2nd Graders wrote about their field trip
- Our 3rd Graders are showing terrific momentum with their effort in class.
- In 4th Grade, the students are learning about fractions and have been working on showing kindness to others
- One of our 5th Grade rooms used reverse mapping as a stepping stone to their next essay.
- Our 6th Graders performed at the band festival, began geometry and continued with their essays.
- Our Kindergarteners are working super hard on their writing.
- Our Preschoolers learned about carnivore, herbivores, and omnivores with their dinosaur unit.
- Tons of our students are bringing in Jump Rope for Heart donations!
- Our whole school showed tremendous school spirit at our Stampede character assembly on Friday!
As I shared last week, in each classroom at dismissal time, students are packing up their materials, getting instruments and/or backpacks and lining up in the hallways. Due to all the activity, it is difficult for us to get messages into the classroom at this time. This means that after 3:20 PM (2:20 PM on Weds) we won’t be calling into the classrooms to inform students of a change in their departure plans. If you need to make a change to how your student(s) will be heading home, please keep this in mind and contact the office prior to 3:20 PM (2:20 PM on Weds). Unless we hear from you prior to these times, your student(s) will head home in their normal way. Thank you!
Just as a reminder, there is no school on Presidents Day. There is no school on Monday.
Be Safe,
Principal
