Grace Episcopal School Vol. 26, March 18, 2015

A Message From Dr. Ricks

Parents and Friends,

This morning we celebrated our students' accomplishments with our 3rd 9 Weeks Awards Assembly which was followed by one of my favorite Grace Middle School traditions, our National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony. Congratulations to all!

Everyone has been working so hard to prepare for ITBS, and the students are ready to move forward. Spring testing marks a time of achievement and signals that the year's end is on the horizon. Please talk to your children about next week's assessment. They should approach it with respect and seriousness, but not be overly stressed. Their teachers have done a wonderful job of getting them ready, and I am certain that they will complete the tests with confidence.

Thank you so much for what has been an amazing Teacher Appreciation Week. The small tokens and happys are greatly welcomed. We love instructing your children, and we are thankful that we can slow down and enjoy how meaningful it is for us to teach at Grace Episcopal School. Tomorrow, we will finish our week with our Academic Pep Rally where we will celebrate and shine light on what good students we are! The theme is Nerd Day, so pile on the pocket protectors, bring your calculators, and tape those glasses...Let's hear a cheer for the Brains!

With warmest regards,

Dr. Beth J. Ricks
