News for the Week of October 5th-9th
No in-person classes on October 8th and 9th
We are pleased to announce that we are on track with planning to begin full-time, in-person learning at all DCSD elementary schools on our target date of October 19, 2020. As a reminder, the district will update the Board of Education of our progress at the next regular board meeting on October 6, 2020.
We understand that the transition from hybrid to full-time, in-person learning comes with many logistics, and many questions from staff and community members. We will be designating Thursday, October 8th and Friday, October 9th as teacher/administrator/staff planning days so that schools can make necessary preparations to start full-time, in-person learning on October 19th (such as moving furniture, setting up classrooms, etc.).
Students will be expected to participate in asynchronous learning at home on October 8th and 9th. They will complete their work from home and there will not be any live sessions held with their classroom teacher. Attendance will be recorded by work completed.
If you are in need of full day care for your child on Thursday or Friday, our B.A.S.E program will be open from 7:00am-5:30pm on the 8th and 9th - Coyote Creek B.A.S.E
Classroom teachers will be hosting parent teacher conferences the week of October 5th. Evening conferences will be held on Tuesday, October 6th and Wednesday, October 7th. Your classroom teacher will be sending out a sign up genius for you to pick a convenient time for you and your family.
If you would like to set up a time to talk to one of the specials teachers or myself, please click on their name to get to their sign up genius.
We look forward to continuing to collaborate with you to help your child learn and grow.

Coyote Creek Elementary School
Our classroom teachers are in need of paper towels! So we are reaching out to our CCE families for help. We hope if it's within your means, you will consider donating a pack of paper towels to the school. All paper towel donations will become part of our school community supply, so there is NO need to label any of the materials with your child’s name. Thank you in advance for all your support of our students and staff!
