Middle/High School Friday Celebrations
Stay Calm its the 13th
Welcome back from break all! I have decided you all can have Monday off (wink).
This 13th day of January has kept us all busy. I hope you all had a great first week back and a restful vacation. This week we looked over our WASC review and got settled back in. We did a lot of work in the office with transcript reviews and the creation of a graduation progress notification letter that will soon go out to all parents and gives them a ton of information. We had a great board meeting on Wednesday that went well including my first closed session.
Our Middle School staff as a whole was very proactive in dealing with some student behaviors taking place outside the classroom. I appreciate you all getting ahead of these types of situations and being so adaptable to what comes your way!
We have done over 100 academic check ins recently at the HS level with the hope that this will encourage students to improve. Our students appreciate our teaching staff and consider so many of you mentors. Keep up the good work.
Winter sports are going strong, try and make it out to a Basketball or Soccer match if you find the time.
Interperative hosting with Mr Duncan continues to embark on many field trips giving the students real world experiences. Thanks for organizing all of these Mr Duncan.
Our high school college applications are all out and I will give updates on what schools they get into as acceptances come in.
