CONCURRENT for NEXT YEAR'S Seniors
If you are still thinking about taking Concurrent classes and have not met with your counselor yet, please read below.
Please go to CANVAS to the Junior Counseling Corner.
WATCH the video that explains everything you need to know.
Print out the EMHS Concurrent Agreement Form (or pick one up in the counseling office) and get it signed by a parent.
That form needs to be returned to your counselor ASAP.
In the meantime, you need to:
* apply to the concurrent college/university of your choice. This is done on the college/university website.
* go to the Request Transcript tab on the Junior Counseling Corner in CANVAS and request to have your high school transcript sent to your concurrent college/university.
Once your counselor receives the signed agreement form from you, they will meet with the student to discuss the details.
Seniors
Graduation is almost here! ALL Seniors need to have completed these items ASAP:
- Fill out the Diploma Spelling Verification Form by Friday, April 1st. After that we will assume that the spelling in Infinite Campus is correct. This is particularly important if you have a double last name, or apostrophes in your name. Please note that legal names must appear on the diploma, but they will be able to request that the name they go by be read during the graduation ceremony at a later date.
- Register their Parchment account (If they haven't yet). This will be how students will request that their final transcripts be sent to colleges or trade schools for the summer/fa, and even send to some employers. Even if students are planning on taking a gap year, PLEASE make sure they've set up their account. For convenience, a registration link was sent to their school email address. This will prefill most of the student/school information. Students just need to be sure to change the email from their school email to a personal email. (to make resetting passwords easier after they graduate and no longer have access to their edmondschools.net email address.) If they have any issues/ questions, please contact Melanie Bailey in the Counseling Office

When does my senior receive their cap/gown?
We have a tradition called Senior Morning where all seniors attend and pick up their gowns, they will try them on and make sure everything fits. Jostens will be here to solve any gown issues. After this, they will have their picture taken for the Official Class of 2022 Panoramic picture. They will be dressed in normal clothes, no gowns. They will take individual pictures and then be photoshopped together. Then we will have our final senior assembly and your senior will receive the final calendar of dates.
This meeting is April 1st from 9:20 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in the gym
All virtual Edmond seniors are asked to attend this meeting
If you are concurrent please speak with your professor to ask to be excused from class to come to this meeting
If you attend Francis Tuttle, we will be notifying them of this meeting and you are expected to attend this meeting instead of attending FT on this day. You will need to fill out the appropriate paperwork from Francis Tuttle for missing class
If a senior cannot attend, they can pick up their gown in room 213.
