Achieve Greatness: Lesson #28 - Positivity
"No one is perfect. Your past mistakes and failures don't have to define your future. They can refine you and help you become all that you were created to be. There is a plan for you. You have a purpose. Don't give up. Have faith and continue to get better." John Gordon

Month of the Military Child
April was Month of the Military Child. On April 13th, MVHS students and staff wore purple to show support to our military children for their strength and sacrifices. It is said that the colors of all the branches of the military (Air Force blue, Army green, Marine red, and Coast Guard blue) combine for the mutual benefit of all into the color purple. For a military child, it's possible to have changed schools 6-9 times between kindergarten and their high school graduation.
MVHS is currently in pursuit of the Purple Star Campus Designation. This recognized Texas school districts and charter schools that show their support and their commitment to meeting unique needs of military-connected students and their families.
