Principal's Message
We hope that your family had a wonderful holiday break filled with rest, good food and great memories!
It is now time to kick off second semester and we could not be more excited! The new year brings an opportunity for a fresh start, goal setting and new experiences. As we kick off the new semester, we will be meeting with students by grade level to reset building expectations which will help this semester be a success!
We have a two day week this week which should help students ease back into the routine. We look forward to seeing them in the morning!

Xello Lessons
Xello Lessons:
This month 6th-8th graders will be working in Xello to learn more about themselves!
6th grade completed Learning Styles Inventory and discussed ways to study and learn new information based upon their specific results.
7th and 8th graders completed Matchmaker and Personality Styles to help connect them with career paths that may be a good fit for them, based on their likes and interests. They can use this information to pick electives and think about high school pathways that may be a good fit for them.
Parents and caregivers have access to Xello results and have been invited by email to create a login account.
If you have additional questions, reach out to Mrs. Vena or Mrs. Brwon.
SAVE THE DATE!
Mark your calendars for our important PRT Parent Enrollment Information Night.
On Thursday, January 26th current 6th and 7th grade parents/guardians (next year's 7th and 8th grade) are invited to PRT Auditorium to join the administration and counseling team for a quick presentation on enrollment for the 2023-2024 school year. This will begin at 6pm and last approximately 1 hour, with time for questions. Topics that will be covered are required course and elective choices, as well as other important information about the upcoming school year. If you cannot attend, we will upload the presentation on our PRT website, under COUNSELING and ENROLLMENT.
Counselors will be visiting current 6th and 7th grade classrooms in January and February to help students with enrollment in Synergy. Look for enrollment sheets to come home the end of January to sign and return.
High School Counselors will also be visiting 8th graders to begin to discuss enrollment in January as well. Look for more information to come!
Please reach out with any questions or concerns!
