T.I.A
T.I.A stands for "This Is Africa". Africa is unchangeable. Anything that people think will make a change in Africa is highly doubted on. T.I.A is the definition of back stab. People from Africa would kill for a diamond even though there is so much supply. T.I.A is a bad mentality.

Imperialism
Africa is like the Great Scramble. Everyone wants a diamond. RUF wants diamonds. The Government want diamonds. Even the slaves try to take diamonds themselves. RUF plays a big role of imperialism. RUF take children and men to expand their gang to fight off the government and to attack and conquer small villages. They conquer more land to find more diamonds. T.I.A.

Slavery
There are two types of slaves is Africa that work for the RUF. They're child slaves and and slaves to discover and dig up diamonds. The child slaves, mainly young boys are taken and brain washed to kill for RUF. RUF makes them do horrible things such as kill innocent civilians and doing drugs to make them more vicious. The slaves that dig up diamonds are forced to find diamonds are usually separated from family and they do very hard labor. If any of them try to hide a diamond and gets caught usually gets killed for it.
Blood Diamonds
Blood diamonds also known as "conflict diamonds" are found in areas controlled by rebel groups such as RUF. The money from selling these diamonds are used to buy more weapons. A lot of these diamonds get smuggled into other countries with high desire of diamonds. The Kimberly Process helps reduce the flow of smuggled diamonds getting on peoples jewelry. Not all diamonds are legal even going through Kimberly process because conflict diamonds sometimes still get smuggled in.
