Kirk Fenton News

12th April 2019

Dear Parents / Carers,

Well, what a busy term this has been! We have had trips, visitors, sporting events and church visits and still managed to fit in a huge amount of learning. This week we have had the Vikings visiting the children in Errol and Hedwig classes and the fire service visiting the whole of key stage two. Both visits were very informative and our pupils showed great respect to our visitors. Year One have also had a visit from Farmer Carl and his big, blue tractor today and the children asked some great questions.

Ten children from KS2 took part in a tag rugby competition during the week and represented our school really well.

As a church school, we worship and pray together every day. Today was no exception and the children from Reception to Year 6 have all visited the church to hear the Easter story and to sing and pray together. Thanks to Rev. Simon for having us all!

We break up today for two weeks returning on Tuesday 30th April at 8:50am. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a happy and peaceful Easter.
