Spring up this weekend. On Monday, March 15, 2021, we will begin our third and final trimester for the 2020-2021, school year! Parents and students are encouraged to finish strong! As the weather gets warmer, I invite you to continue to engage in learning. We will have some awesome opportunities for you to participate in. Thank you parents and families for partnering with us as we teach and learn together!

Come join our "green" drive-thru parade on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. We will be giving art supplies and lucky charm bags to families as you drive through the line in our parking lot located off White's road. We also welcome our incoming Kindergarteners to join the fun! We are looking forward to "seeing" you soon!

Parents, be sure to return your child's letter of intent to our office, in order to reserve their seat for the 2021-2022 school year.

If you have not already taken a picture of your child, (shoulders up) for the yearbook, we ask that you kindly do so and email the photo to woodslakepto@gmail.com in order to be included in our 2020-2021 school yearbook. We do not want to leave anyone out of our yearbook!

This month Kids In Tune transforms into Families In Tune as we celebrate Family February! Every February we invite family members and loved ones of KKIT students to join our Orchestra for the month and learn an instrument alongside their student. We are so excited to welcome 25 family members into our Orchestra this month - our highest number of participants yet! Together we are all working on a new piece of music that we are excited to perform for everyone at our upcoming virtual Spring concert March 5th at 6:00pm. You can watch the performance and cheer on fellow Woods Lake students and their family members on our KKIT Facebook page, we will be live streaming the event.

That's not all! We are also hosting a photo scavenger hunt where families take pictures of themselves completing fun activities together in order to win a pizza party. So far, our families in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place are all from Woods Lake! Last but not least, we are hosting a Family Game Night and KKIT Open House on Friday, February 19th at 6:00pm. We have made the tough decision to not hold a Girls on the Run team at Woods Lake this year. However, 3rd-5th grade girls will still have the opportunity to participate in GOTR. Please see this flyer for more information. If there are any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out!
