Plugged In!
Make sure all charger cords are plugged into laptops before returning cart.
Wrapped Up!
In addition, make sure all charger cords are wrapped up - not hanging down too far below the laptop shelf.
Monitored!
NEVER allow students to try and pull out cords from the back of the gray carts - they are not designed to come out!
Classroom Device Management through Powerschool
It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you assign devices (laptops, iPads, desktop computers in computer lab, etc.) to your students based on their numerical order from a list you can print easily in Powerschool Reports. That way, every time a student gets a device, they get the same numbered device, and inappropriately used devices can be more easily traced to the perpetrator! :-)
Tech Apps TEKS
The core subject areas in grades K-8 include the Tech Apps TEKS (updated 2012-13).
Teachers need to include applicable Tech App TEKS into their lesson plans in Forethought/Eduphoria, implementing the Tech App TEKS through their ongoing lesson designs.
6th Grade Tech Apps TEKS
7th Grade Tech Apps TEKS
8th Grade Tech Apps TEKS
