Hour Of Code for Our Third Graders:
Hour of Code WWA 3rd graders participating Dec. 9
The Hour of Code is back and better than ever! Computer Science and Coding are fundamental components of STEAM and by participating in the Hour of Code students can experience for themselves the way computational thinking can change our world. Between December 5-11, 2022, ten percent of students around the world will celebrate Computer Science Education Week by participating in an Hour of Code at their school. It’s an opportunity for students to learn how the technology around us works.
Our target group this year is third graders. The students will complete a coding activity on their Chromebooks, and we’ll also print Hour of Code certificates they can bring home. And, it’s fun! Students will learn computational thinking skills in an approachable way.
