Make sure you submit your progress reports on time. We will be honoring our Honor Roll Middle and High School Students.

AKTEACH is so proud of all of our super readers! Our Middle School and our 3/4 Teams competed at the state level! Middle School tied for first in their bracket in the first round and eventually placed 14th out of 24 schools. Our 3rd/4th Grade Team placed 5th overall out of 33 Schools! Our 5/6 and K-2 Teams both took 2nd in their district battles! This was the first time competing for most of our students and we think they did an amazing job. All of our teams worked so hard and read so many books! We couldn't be prouder!

Our racers had to sing, and dance, and prove their knowledge of South American Geography.

Next Month - Africa!

This was an exciting adventure for all of us! Students who knew the research center shared their enthusiasm and experience with all of us who were visiting for the first time! We met lots of big crabs and little crabs. We got to touch a frozen shark, and a live sea cucumber, and the sea anemones tried to eat a few fingers.
