Alternatives to Edible Birthday Treats

We have been asked to remind all parents to refrain from sending edible treats for birthday celebrations. While the Back to School packet offered soft pretzels/healthy items as an option, we ask that you please look for ways to celebrate that do not include food. Some ideas include:

  1. PENCILS
  2. ERASERS
  3. BOOKMARKS
  4. STICKERS
  5. DECKS OF CARDS
  6. MINI PUZZLE BOOKS
  7. PARTY FAVORS (bouncy balls, matchbox cars, erasers, tops, magnifying glasses, notepads, etc.)
  8. BOOK DONATION TO CLASSROOM LIBRARY
  9. BOARD GAME DONATION TO CLASSROOM FOR INDOOR RECESS
  10. ARRANGE TO COME IN AND READ TO THE CLASS

Thank you for your adherence to this as it is difficult to manage the many needs/preferences of our individual students and/or parents and food choices.
