First Day of School Visitors

We welcome parents to walk their students to class on the first day of school, August 9th. Please leave the classroom no later than 8:00 so teachers can start their day. You may enter the front or the back door.

PTO Boohoo and Yahoo Breakfast

It's the first day of school! Whether you need a tissue or breakfast treats to get you through the morning, CE-PTO has you covered. After you drop off your little ones to class, please join us in the cafeteria to meet the PTO board, ask questions, and enjoy fellowship with CE parents.

Please note that supplies are limited to a first come first serve basis.

Bus Riders

Bus routes change each school year. Please check your bus route number on the Humble ISD transportation site. School personnel will not assign a student a bus route. Parents must communicate this information to teachers.

Walkers and Bikers

Only students residing in the Lakewood Pines subdivision surrounding the campus will be allowed to walk or bike home. Students will NOT be permitted to walk into the surrounding neighborhood to be picked up by a car. These students are car riders. Thank you for helping us keep students safe at dismissal.

Kinder and 1st grade students will not be released as walkers unless they have older siblings.

Car Riders

All car riders need a tag with a school assigned number for dismissal. If you did not receive your car tag at Meet the Teacher, please stop the front office on Monday, August 8th or anytime Tuesday, August 9th.

Students will NOT be released to cars without the school administered car tag.

Kinder/1st Grade and their siblings will be released in the Side Car Rider line.

2nd-5th grade will be released in the Front Car Rider line.

Meal Delivery for Students

In our continual efforts to maintain the highest safety procedures for students, parents may not have lunch meals delivered to campus. Delivery driver traffic in the front office continued to increase all year. As staff engages with delivery drivers, their attention is diverted from other situations.

If your student forgot their lunch at home, please do not hesitate to drop it off. Another great practice is to put a small amount of money on your student's School Cafe account for emergencies.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Free and Reduced Lunch Applications are Open!

Celebrating Birthdays

Parents may drop off STORE bought cupcakes to the front office. Teachers will pass out one to each student in the class during the last 5 minutes of lunch. If there is not enough cupcakes, staff will not pass them out to the class.

Please so not bring pizza, balloons, flowers, party favors, goodie bags, gifts, etc. to school. If so they will remain in the front office all day and the student can pick them up at dismissal. Party favors will not be passed out to the class.

Centennial Personalized Counseling

School Counseling Services

Counselors are essential educators and mental health professionals in the school system. We are growing graduates by teaching educational, career, personal, and social development at all ages!

Personalized Counseling

In Humble ISD, we believe in a personalized approach to counseling. Each elementary student will receive one individual meeting each year with their counselor. In these meetings, students will explore their goals and aspirations, and discuss the options for their personal path in Humble ISD. Additionally, counselors will be working with students and teachers in the classroom to provide additional avenues for student success. This partnership gives Humble ISD students a unique approach to meeting their personal goals, career pathways, and setting them up for success.
