Senior Information
Updates to the Senior Events page can be found here. Currently, you can see information about cap and gown orders, class rings, senior photos, and the senior calendar.
Jostens - Cap and Gown orders - there is an option on the website now to order just the cap and tassel if you already own a gown. Please go to thegraduationcenter.com and enter your information to get those items ordered. You must have a cap, gown, and tassel to participate in the graduation ceremony. Orders after January 31, 2023 will incur a late fee from Jostens.
CADY is offering one last RoadShow session on the LTHS campus (E203) in December. Please go to CADY.com if you would like to sign up for this session. It does require a $29 sitting fee. There will be a free session for "yearbook only" photos later in January. Please see the Senior Events page for detailed information about each of these options.
Senior Walk will take place on November 4th, 2022 once the last home district football game has ended. The Project Graduation parent volunteers will be on campus selling senior shirts before and at this game.
Additional graduation requirements were met by the majority of our seniors on Wednesday, October 12th. Any students that still need to demonstrate CPR knowledge and watch the LEO video will be contacted soon by Mrs. Hrapchak to schedule. If you were not in attendance on the 12th or left before getting the packet from Jostens, you can stop by G207 to pick one up.
Senior parents, for more information from Project Graduation, please register your email with Project Graduation. You will receive information about purchasing the senior shirt/hoodie, fundraising, volunteering, and other events they are planning for our seniors.
Senior Walk occurs immediately following the last home football game of the season (11/4). All LTHS seniors are welcome to participate. Hint #1: get a headcount now of everyone who will be attending the game with you. Plan to buy your student’s ticket on Sun 10/30 & family tickets on the morning of Monday 10/31. (Remind your senior to locate the gate between Sections B and C, near the student section where they will enter the field at the completion of the game.) Hint #2: This is a sentimental event for many parents so bring your camera, plan for the weather, and pack tissues!

2022-2023 Final Exam Exemption Procedures
Juniors and Seniors are eligible to earn TWO final exam exemptions by adhering to the requirements listed on this document. These exemptions apply to the spring semester only. All students must take all midterm exams in December. Additionally, freshmen and sophomores are not eligible exam exemptions.
How to earn an Exemption:
Grades: Must have a year-long average of an 85% or above for the specific class you are wanting to exempt. Grades will be calculated by averaging RC1, RC2, RC3, and the RC4 average as of May 5th at 4:15pm.
Attendance: Students can have no more than 5 tardies in the specific class they want to exempt beginning on October 13, 2022.
Honor Code: No Tier 2 or Tier 3 honor code violations. Students with a Tier 2 violation cannot exempt the class for which the violation occurred. Students with a Tier 3 violation cannot exempt any classes. This includes additional AP exam exemptions.
AP Classes: Students enrolled in an AP class may earn an additional exemption if they meet all of the exemption requirements listed above and take the AP exam. This applies to sophomores as well.
Exemption Defined: Exempt from the Exam does not mean exempt from attending school.
Failure to attend school during the scheduled exam time will result in the student forfeiting his/her exemption and result in a zero for the exam grade if the student does not complete the makeup exam on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
More information will be shared in the Spring, including the exemption form that will require signatures from teachers, parents, and the student.
