500 people were killed by dust pneumonia in this disaster. this horrible travesty happened threw 1934-1937. The dust Bowl affected nearly one hundred million acres of land in Texas Oklahoma new Mexico Colorado Kansas Nebraska north and south Dakota Montana and Wyoming


On this day in 1934, President Franklin Roosevelt asks Congress to appropriate $52.5 million to battle economic and social disaster in the American Midwest caused in part by the dust bowl


the dust bowl was so bad it forced people out of their homes. But for some people they stayed and had so suffer threw the dust bowl.
