About Lysosmes
Lysosomes are like the trash cans of the cell. They expel waste and digest the bad things in the cell. they are membrane-bound vesicles made the Golgi apparatus. Lysosomes are only apparent in most eukaryotic cells, animal cells. they are basic, so the pH is lower than 7. they contain digestive enzymes that help break down waste. They expel excess or worn out organelles, and engulfs bacteria and virus.the membrane surrounding the Lysosome prevent it from eating the entire cell. Lysosomes can fuse with the vacuoles and dispense their enzymes into the vacuole, digesting it's contents.
