Michigan’s food and agriculture industry has created 805,000 jobs and contributed $104 billion to the state’s economy annually.
FFA is a great way to learn more about Agriculture @ CHS!
FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. FFA develops members’ potential and helps them discover their talent through hands-on experiences, which give members the tools to achieve real-world success.
FFA is not just for students who want to be production farmers! FFA also welcomes members who aspire to careers as teachers, doctors, scientists, business owners and more!
FFA continues to help the next generation rise up to meet challenges by helping its members to develop their own unique talents and explore their interests in a broad range of agricultural career pathways.
Important Senior Information!!!
The Chesaning Local Scholarship Application is open!
The awards for the Local Scholarship will be handed out on Senior Honors night.
The application deadline is Friday, March 18th @ 3pm!
Do your FAFSA - it's not too late!
The State FAFSA Priority Deadline has been Extended to May 1st!
It's Scheduling Season!
- Wednesday, March 16th: 11th grade scheduling
- Thursday, March 17th: 10th grade scheduling
- Friday, March 18th: 9th grade scheduling
- Monday, March 21st: 8th grade scheduling

PRACTICE HELPS!
Overall, the higher you score on the SAT the more options for attending and paying for college will be available to you!
CHS is hosting a Skilled Trades & Apprenticeship Fair!
SCC Application Deadline is March 11th!
SCC applications are available in the main office, Mrs. Chrysler's office and Mrs. Volk's office.
Students wishing to attend SCC should apply ASAP. All applications are due to Mrs. Chrysler by
March 11th.
