May 12th - WB Academic Showcase
Thank you to all who attended the WB Academic Showcase! What an amazing night where we had over 30 teacher/student groups presenting information in the MSHS. There were presentations ranging from Preschool to Senior Projects and every school was represented with several tables. A HUGE thank you to all staff and students who came out to be part of the event. We are looking forward to doing this again next year.

Will breakfast and lunch be free for all students next year? The Massachusetts House Ways and Means Committee came out with their FY23 budget proposal a few weeks ago and it included support for universal free school meals in Massachusetts for School Year 2022-2023. However there is a long process to go as the Senate will be coming out with their FY23 budget version later this month and it remains to be seen if it will also include funding for universal free school meals. A final state budget will not be signed until July after the legislature decides on a final budget and the Governor has submitted vetoes. If you want more information or would like to take action to help ensure that all students have access to meals at school next year, check out Project Bread. We will keep you posted!
