IF YOU WANT IT FRESH, WE CAN FREEZE IT!
More info...
In the 1840s refrigerated rail cars were used to transport milk and butter. As time went on they started refrigerating more things. This helped food stay fresh longer. (meat, produce, eggs, butter, milk, cheese, and fish).
Refrigerated rail cars were ice cooled, they had any one of variety of mechanical refrigeration systems, or utilized carbon dioxide as a cooling agent.
Everyone benefited from this invention because it kept.
The 1800s version of rail car does not exist today, but we still have refrigerated transport for food.
