Nurse's Corner

Attention parents: please let the school know if your student has been diagnosed with the flu and what type. You can email the data clerk or the nurse with the information. Please make sure the doctor’s note states all dates your student has missed or will miss. The doctor’s office can also fax the note to 469-633-4650.

  1. Please see the FISD School attendance guidelines for when to keep your child home from school here.
  2. See ways to protect yourself from getting sick here.

Crossing Lebanon

Students, if you need to cross Lebanon in order to get to and from school, you must cross with the crossing guards in front of our school. From there, you can walk down Lebanon in either direction. Concerned citizens have reported that our students are running across Lebanon down the street without the use of a crossing guard, and this is extremely dangerous because not all cars see you and they do not expect to stop. Students are getting themselves into dangerous situations. Again, ONLY CROSS LEBANON AT THE CROSSWALK WHERE WE HAVE CROSSING GUARDS AT WORK. THEY ARE HERE TO KEEP US SAFE!

ID Badge Violations and Tardy Gate Consequences

Students, remember that you must wear your badge each day. Not wearing your badge will result in consequences. The consequences are as follows:

1st & 2nd Tardy/Badge Warning

3rd Tardy/Badge Lunch Detention (30 minutes during lunch)

4th & 5th Tardy/Badge C-hall (Tuesdays 7:15-8:15 OR Wednesdays 3:40-4:40)

6th & 7th Tardy/Badge Thursday Night Reflection (Thursdays 3:40-4:40)
