Words of Wisdom

"Beginning is easy – continuing hard."

~Japanese Proverb

It can be exciting to come back to school after a little summer fun. We are usually at our best at the beginning, hopeful, even optimistic.

But as the weeks continue, it can become difficult to maintain the level of excellence with which we began, especially if our initial hopes have not been solidly built upon a bedrock of guiding principles. But we can make a conscious decision that all our relationships with other members of the CPA community will be based on respect, responsibility, fairness, and honesty.

When things get difficult, (which they inevitably will), we can then better navigate our way through the challenge with some of the ease and excellence with which we began.
