We're a little over one month away from an evening of community to benefit all five campuses of SMCS. You're invited to ALL ABOARD, held Saturday October 15, on the campus of St. Mary Catholic Middle School. This year ALL ABOARD will feature a tasty tailgate meal from Parker Johns, live entertainment from Jedidiah Tuyls and Pat Pedersen, outdoor games, silent auction, and a chance to connect with SMCS families new and old.

Tickets for this adult only event are $50 each and cover your meal and drinks. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. You can register and find more details at www.smcsallaboard.org.

Our annual Fun Run is back and better than ever. Join us for a Fall Friday of family time and football all to benefit co-curricular activities at St. Mary Catholic Schools. Whether you choose to run or just come for the family friendly games and activities, all are welcome! Click here to register.

Zephyr Dads is open to all men in the SMCS community: current dads from all five campuses, dads of alumni, alumni who are dads, staff dads, granddads. If you play a dad role and you love SMCS, you're invited. The group has several upcoming events this fall, including a softball game under the lights on the new baseball field! Questions regarding Zephyr Dads can be directed to Director of Development (and six time Zephyr Dad) Chris Decker.

Now that school is in full swing again, it’s time to fill our wallets up with Scrip gift cards to help pay for back to school expenses like gas and pictures! This month only, Kwik Trip is raising its rebate percentage from 5% to 10% (be sure to select Higher Bonus when ordering), and Scanlan Studios is also raising their rebate from 10% to 15%! In accordance with recommendations from the CDC and local health departments, St. Mary Catholic Schools has updated its COVID-19 policy.

Whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, students who test positive for COVID-19 should

• Stay home for 5 days from symptom onset, or if no symptoms, from the date tested.
  

• Day 0 is the first day of symptoms
• Day 1 is the first full day after symptoms develop
• Return to school on day 6 IF fever-free for 24 hours AND symptoms have largely resolved. If symptoms continue after 5 days, continue to stay home until fever-free for 24 hours and symptoms have largely resolved
• Wear a well-fitted mask while around others for 10 days.

Whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, students who are a close contact to a positive case may remain in school if symptom free. They should test for COVID-19 5 days after exposure.
