Have a Great Long Weekend!
Good Afternoon KHS Students, Families, and Staff,
I hope the remote week went well for all of you. Going remote is never an easy decision. In looking at attendance the students did a nice job of attending their Google Meets and staying on track. As of this writing I believe we will be open on Tuesday for in-person instruction/mid-terms.
Midterms next week - you can see the schedule and information below.
Reminder that when your student is going to be absent to please use the Absence Reporting Form that is above this message. This information is really important for the main office and Nurse Price.
Mr. Sirois

Mid-Year Exam Important Details
Buses will run at their normal times to and from school. On Wednesday, January 19, we will run a Late-Start Wednesday bus schedule. Students who choose not to ride the bus must provide their own transportation.
After the last exam each day at 11:45, except Wednesday which ends at 1:00, there will be four buses that will follow the late bus routes. Please note there is no bus at 1 PM on Wednesday so students will have to wait for the regular buses to come through around 2 PM. The buses will have signs for what area they are covering.
The regular after-school buses will also do a quick drive-through around 2:00 p.m.
Students do not have to be in attendance if they do not have an exam scheduled. The library will be open for quiet study. The cafeteria will also be open.
Students who have two exams in one day are required to stay at school during the break. They may not leave school and return. Should we cancel school during exam week, the exams from the day will be moved to the next day and the rest of the schedule will be pushed out a day. If teachers administer a mid-year exam, it will count for 10% of the semester average.
