How Can I Virtually Connect with S.S.S.?
Students who typically work with S.S.S. on a regular basis should be contacted by a member of the S.S.S. team to talk about scheduling regular services virtually.
Our groups will be held via ZOOM beginning the week of April 6th. The schedule will be as follows:

Provides services to individuals and families who have experienced a loss due to the death of a loved one from illness, miscarriage, accident, suicide, or violence; along with those who have experienced loss due to divorce or separation. This organization strives to help anyone in need of hope and healing. For those in need we offer a sliding fee scale and a care assistance program when funds are available.

Teen Support Groups for adolescents aged 13-19 are held 1st & 3rd Thursdays of the month, from 6:30-8pm. There are also quarterly outings for teens. Additional groups: Crime Victims group, Suicide Survivors group, Children’s group, and Adult’s group.

Lifeworks offers Youth and Adult Counseling, Resolution Counseling, Housing Resources (including emergency housing and transitional living as well housing specifically for young parents who are pregnant or already parenting) and Education/Workforce Support. Counseling assists individuals and families in dealing with the stress of day-to-day living by improving and utilizing their existing coping skills and creating effective solutions, and the program helps identify goals for short-term therapy and works with each client to explore issues and create effective solutions while focusing on strengths.
Some services are offered on a sliding fee scale while some are free.

The Other Ones Foundation Mobile Hygiene Clinic: Each of these stops will have shower stalls with sink and toilet, hygiene supplies, basic first aid, and some food until supplies run out. RENTAL ASSISTANCE
The Tenant Based Rental Assistance Program subsidizes rents and pays security deposits. The assistance is portable, which means the tenant is not restricted to living in a particular apartment complex. The assistance is available for a maximum of two years. As a condition to receiving the subsidized rent payments, tenants must participate in a self-sufficiency program. Self-Sufficiency programs will vary, depding on the population served. Self-Sufficiency Programs may include drug dependency classes, job training, college degree programs, parenting training and GED classes.
