Scholarship Opportunities
Builders and Remodelers Association of Northern New York Scholarship (BRANNY): eligible applicants are those who plan to attend an accredited two or four-year college or those who wish to purchase construction tools for employment. Applicants must have a 3.0 or higher and have previous exposure/experience in the construction field. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Application deadline: April 1st
Corinth Teachers' Association College Scholarship: a scholarship opportunity for students who plan to enter the teaching field and exhibit excellence in scholarship, good character, leadership ability, and good citizenship. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Application deadline: March 18th
YMCA Earth Service Awards: eligible applicants must have contributed to the improvement of the environment and been involved in environmental community service activities. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. Application deadline: April 4th
Schuylerville Community Theater Scholarship: eligible applicants must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college in Music, Dance, Drama, or Theater Arts. Applications and more information are available online. Deadline: April 15th
Margaret King Moore Mayflower Prize: applicants must write a 500 word essay in response to the title, "The Mayflower Pilgrims Contribution to Early American History." All essays must be submitted to the Counseling Office for review by April 15th
The Amy Bindelglass Memorial Scholarship: applicants must write a letter to his/her local state Assembly-person or Senator (to be submitted with the scholarship application), that is both creative and well thought out, explaining why the proposed legislation to lower the age to register on the NYS Donor Life Registry should or shouldn't pass. The letter should not exceed 500 words. Application information is available in the Counseling Office. Application deadline: April 1st
College Choice
Reminder, once you have made a final decision on college for next year, please be sure to notify all other colleges where you have been accepted of your decision not to attend. This allows those colleges to consider other students placed on a wait list. Please also make sure you notify your counselor of you plans!
