How Do I Log On For Specials?
First check this newsletter or with your homeroom teacher to see if your special for that day will be meeting live. You can find if they are meeting live on the newsletter each week. If they are meeting live, then you can find the channel by clicking the meeting link in the schedule linked above. Click on your childs grade level above, find their homeroom teacher schedule, and click the "Join Teams Meeting" next to the Special you have that day. Once you sign on, you will be put in a waiting lobby and the teacher will let you in the meeting when they are ready to start. If they are not meeting live, then students should complete the assignment listed on the weekly newsletter during their specials time.
What If My Child Miss Their Specials Time?
Each specials teacher has directions for what to do if they miss their specials time. Locate this newsletter and look under the specials that your child missed that day. They will tell you exactly how to get to the assignment and what to do if you missed the live lesson and need to make up the assignment.
Are Specials Assignments Mandatory For Students To Complete?
Yes, students are expected to complete all specials assignments if any has been assigned. Students specials grades are a combination of their participation in class, assignments completed throughout the semester, and student conduct in class throughout the semester.
Where Do I Turn In Specials Assignments?
All specials teachers have given students directions on how to turn in any assignments for each special. Students should follow the directions given to them by their specials teacher on how to turn in the assignment. If a student forgets, you can often find the directions here on the newsletter under the specials teacher section.
PLEASE remember to check this newsletter first for any Specials questions that you may have. Many of your questions are answered on the weekly newsletter. We will also post weekly updates for Specials on the newsletter so that we are able to improve your online specials experience.

This week in P.E....
WE ARE SO EXCITED TO START HAVING STUDENTS FACE-TO-FACE IN SPECIALS! We have enjoyed seeing you all on the computer, but we are ready to see you back in school! You have all done such a great job so far this year and we hope you are going to continue working hard and following directions when you come to the gym in person.
This week we will be learning about how to take care of our teeth. It is so important to brush and floss our teeth EVERY DAY and watch what we eat and drink. Sugary drinks and snacks are hard on our teeth, so we have to limit those items and clean our teeth at least twice a day. Make sure you visit your dentist twice a year so they can check for any cavities!
