Read Across America at Swansboro Elementary
Read Across America and Dr. Seuss
The laughter, warmth, and eagerness of the children who listened eagerly to the rich, silly rhymes of this beloved author as numerous people took time to come to the school to share their love of reading with kindergarten through fifth grade classes made this one hour dedication of time well worth the investment of time.
Mentoring at Koinonia: Music, Crafts, and Studying
Book "Tasting" at Swansboro Elementary School
books about food. In the media center, children made a "quilt" of their dreams for their futures, while others made macaroni necklaces and learned about planting seeds. Sharing time with classes from kindergarten through fifth grade was a delight for the volunteers.
