The AquAdvantage Salmon is a genetically modified and constructed Salmon in the Atlantic. It has been constructed to grow and mature twice as fast as the average Salmon.

AquaBounty has come out with the AquAdvantage. In 1989, the AquAdvantage Salmon was introduced. It was approved by the FDA on November 19, 2015. The Salmon is scientifically engineered by mixing the genes of the Ocean Pout and the Chinook Salmon. Most of the engineering takes place in Canada
