4th Grade Classrooms

On February 12, we will be celebrating Valentine’s Day and passing out our cards to the class. We will be making our Valentine bags in class.

If you would like to send Valentine’s to classmates, please make sure that you include one for each classmate. We do not want anyone to be left out. Please remember to spell everyone’s name correctly! Students have a list to bring home tomorrow.

Sky Ranch Update - Thank you!

We are almost halfway to our goal for Sky Ranch. We need for all money to be turned in by February 12.

We need your help in order to make it to Sky Ranch! You can make a donation online or send in a check or cash. If you still have chocolate out, please send in the money for the box as soon as possible :)

Math Homework

Students were given math homework this week. In class on Monday and Tuesday they were given 15 minutes to begin working on the assignment and ask any questions they may have had. If they were finished today they were given the option to turn in the work or take it home for "homework." Any work not finished in class was also taken home today in Tuesday folders.

All homework needs to be returned by Friday. Please help your child bring it back to school as soon as it is finished! Math homework will continue through April.

TEK Spotlight

Science 4.7(B) observe and identify slow changes to Earth's surface caused by weathering, erosion, and deposition from water, wind, and ice

We are studying these slow changes now and are learning how they change the surface of the Earth. Ask your child if they can identify an erosion around your neighborhood!
