Black History Month

This month's window display commemorates Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Letter from Birmingham Jail. The full text is on display as well as a short introduction to describe the context of that moment in history (See below). Encourage your students to stop by and find their favorite inspirational line.

Below the introduction, you may also click on the audio or download a copy of the full text.

ComicBook/Graphic Novel Fair

Thank you to everyone who came by the library last month to make a purchase at our first Comicbook/Graphic Novel Fair hosted by Bedrock City.

We sold over $4000 of product in three days. Incredible.

We are now able to pay for our transportation for our Name That Book competition in March. In addition, we also bought a combination of 30 graphic novels and comicbooks to add to the library's permanent collection.

Thank you all! We can't wait to host next year's Comicbook/Graphic Novel Fair.

Voter Registration & Presidential Primaries

#LobosVote

During the latest Voter Registration Drive, we had 60 newly registered voters.

The library is always available to register or renew voter registrations, please stop by for more information.

March 3rd marks the Presidential Primaries in Texas. See visual below for information regarding important election dates.

In addition, we will host the Interim Superintendent Lathan on February 18th for a special Press Conference focused on the importance of registering to vote.
