No Shave November/Men's Health Book Display Book characters were give mustaches for "No Shave November" that promotes men's health/cancer awareness. | Salute to Service Book Display Different military branches were highlighted in this book display to honor Veteran's Day. | Mythology Book Display Books about mythology were highlighted for sixth graders who are beginning to ready "The Lightning Thief" in class. |

Student Book Clubs
6th grade is reading "Wishtree" by Katherine Applegate
7th grade is reading "A Night Divided" by Jennifer A. Nielsen
8th grade began a book club, but there wasn't enough interest to continue the club.

Class Happenings in the Media Center in November
-Ms. Williams, Ms. Gibson & Ms. Guilliam's classes participated in a Google Voyage activity about myths from around the world.
--Dr. Vega's, Ms. Wynn's & Ms. Tripp's classes participated in a lesson about citing sources and research on their refugee group.-Ms. Lundberg used the space for her drama classes.
