Screencastify

Screencastify is a simple video screen capture software for Chrome. Just press record and the content of your tab, webcam or desktop is recorded. Easily create screencasts for video tutorials, record presentations etc. This is great if you are tired of repeating the same directions over and over again. Just record it one time...and share it with your students. Screencastify is also great if your students are working on a project in the computer lab. You can simply record the directions for their assignment (showing them where to click) and then allow students to work independently at their own pace. It is perfect for flipping the classroom too, because it records your voice, so they can watch you teach the lesson or rewind it if they need to.
Screencastify does not depend on any plugins (like Java, Flash or others), so runs on all platforms that run Chrome (Linux, Windows, OS X) or ChromeOS (Chromebooks and Chromeboxes). This is perfect for Chromebooks because the microphone and webcam are built in, but it can used with a laptop or desktop if you add an external microphone. This is a great tool for your classroom..and so very easy to use.

How do I add ScreenCastify to my Chrome Account?
