Travel Teams Take a Road Trip Across the United States, Researching and Writing on Their Journey

Small groups of students cooperate as Travel Teams, canvassing the country and gathering facts and features of each state along their route. They complete a variety of written and multimedia team projects. Students learn to use and interpret maps, budget and manage travel expenses, and research state-specific information and historical sites. Students utilize their reading, writing and math skills throughout the unit.

  • When: 4:30-6:00 PM - 5 sessions
  • Dates: Wednesday afternoons: June 14-July 12, 2023
  • Cost: $450.00- payments accepted: cash, check or online payment available (Chase, Zelle: through the email: danastein@danasteinacademics.com or Venmo @DanaStein
  • Prepayment is required for registration
  • Cost can be pro-rated if there are scheduling conflicts
