Find The Volume
The easy way to say!
The Numbers,WHAT DO THEY MEAN!
Here is where to start.
To find the volume you must first find the area of the base.
The area of the base is found by multiplying your length times width.
say i have a length of 2 and width of 5, when you multiply i get 10cm2 NOT cm3 or whaterver measurment your using YOU MUST square area of the base.
Some difrent figures.
Cylinder
a slightley more tricky volume to find
rectangular prism.
the basic most common and easy volume to find
triangular prism
Hes just half the rectangle he used to be
The rest of the equation
how to solve the volume
the rest of the volume is solved by multiplying your area of the base you found earlier and multiply it by the hieght. for triangular prisms just find it like a rectangular prism than divide it by two at the very end.
for cylinders you take your radius and times it by itself and then multiply that by Pi or 3.14
