How did camp life change the prisoners as a person?
The camp tested almost every characteristic that they owned. Their dignity was greatly tested. They were to strip down, completely nude, and race each other. Those who looked too weak to carry on were taken to the crematory were they would be burned.
Identify at least 3 themes in the novel.
In "Night" was man's inhumanity to man. There were many mass killings during the holocaust that were very cruel, and unusual. Next there are father-son relationships, there were many times when a son would abandon his father for something as small as a piece of bread. The last theme is hope. As long as you believe in something, you still have hope.
What does this novel reveal about you as a human being?
It tells me that if my life is hard, it will probably be not be as hard as theirs. They provided hardly any food. They wore clothes that were tattered, and smelly.
