Welcome to doTERRA!

Placing your first few orders with doTERRA can be challenging. You need to learn the ordering process, there are a lot of products to choose from, and promotions/incentives to keep any eye on. This page contains information on how to place an order. If you need additional assistance, contact your upline leader or me with questions (contact information is below).

Ready... Set...

To place an order you will need the following:

- Your "Wellness Advocate", "Wholesale Customer" or "Membership" Number

- Your credit/debit card
- A list of items you would like.
Not sure? You can "shop" before you order and put items in your cart.
- A phone and 2 numbers: doTERRA Customer Service 1-800-411-8151 and your upline leader (the person who shared doTERRA with you).

Ordering by Phone

You can place your order over the phone by calling Customer Service. I do not recommend that you place your order this way because you only get 1/2 of the shipping rewards.

Ordering Online

You can place your order online by visiting your personal doTerra ordering website - we call it "the back office". You can find yours at
You will automatically be brought to the "Shop" page.
There will be a module outlined in purple that reads "Scheduled LRP Orders".
Under the header, you will see a list of all active LRP orders associated with your account.

Click on the grey button that contains the LRP number of the LRP you are wishing to edit.

From there, one can either:

  • Edit Items: Add Items by either
    1) Clicking on the "Continue Shopping" button that is located on the bottom left of each page. From here, you will be able to browse through products and add them to their LRP order by selecting "Add to cart" or
    2) Typing the whole or partial name in the "Quick Add to Cart" option that is located on the top of the items area on the LRP page. When you are ready to view the totals of the order as it currently stands, select "View totals", which is located in the "Order Summary" module to the right of your items. If you are satisfied with the changes, click on "Save Changes". Your items have now been updated.
  • Edit Shipping: To change ship to address, select the "Edit" option located next to "Ship To" near the top of the page. Shipping method can be edited on the right hand side of the page in the order summary module.
  • Edit Payment: To edit card information, select "Edit" located next to "Payment" near the top of the page. Here, cards can be edited, added, and deleted.

All about LRP (the Loyalty Rewards Program)...

Participating in this program is optional and highly encouraged. As a participant in the loyalty rewards program, you will immediately begin to earn product credits that can be used as cash to purchase dōTerra product. The longer you participate in the LRP, the more credits you can earn—up to 30%

For Example: If you place a 100pv order and you are in your first three months of the program, you would be earning 10% of your order total back in free product…so 10pv is what would be credited to your rewards point bank.

If you have been on the LRP program for over a year you are now earning 30% of your order totals back in free product…so a 100pv order would earn 30pv into your rewards point bank.

You can redeem these points for products. Each oil is assigned a Point Value (pv). For example Lemon is 10pv. If you order 100pv and get 10pv back, essentially you’ve earned a free bottle of lemon. As your points accrue over time, this enables you to redeem them for whatever oil you choose.


  • 1-49pv keeps you on the program
  • 50pv and above you earn a percentage back on your order. You start at 10% and can work your way up to 30% back. If you have a minimum order of 50pv each month, you will reach the 30% in 13 months.
  • 100pv qualifies you for bonuses & commissions for those who are doing the business with DōTerra.
  • 125 pv by the 15th of the month gets you the free product of the month.


  • No limit to monthly LRP product points that you can earn.
  • LRP orders may process any day of the month from the 1st through the 28th.
  • Total accrued product points will be viewable online through your virtual office.
  • Product of the Month Club – IPCs or PCs with a qualified minimum loyalty rewards order of 125+ PV that is processed by the 15th of the month will receive a FREE gift (varies each month)! The gift is limited to one per account per month.
  • Freedom to change your membership rewards order, ship date or mailing address up to 24 hours before selected ship date.


  • Minimum loyalty rewards order of 50pv to earn monthly product credits and increase point accrual status.
  • Product credits expire 12 months from the date of issue.
  • Product credits can be used to purchase full PV (product value) products only; not applicable toward business products.
  • Product credits can be redeemed by selecting items to use points toward in your shopping cart (see the drop down in the LRP column)
  • Member pays a redemption fee of $3 per when points are used. Applicable taxes and shipping and handling charges will apply.
  • Must be an Loyalty Rewards participant for 60 days before credits can be redeemed.
  • All product credits will be immediately cancelled with loyalty rewards cancellation.
  • Product credits have no PV or cash redemption value and are not transferable.

To help with occasional hardships, the following rules for LRP orders between 1-49 PV will be implemented as follows:

  • will maintain point accrual status
  • will not lose existing points accrued
  • will not earn points on LRP orders below 50 PV
  • will not progress in point accrual status on orders below 50 PV

- Want to place an LRP order between the 28th and the last day of the month?
(Order must be placed by 11:59pm Mountain Time on the last day of the month... that is the 1st of the month at 1:59am for you East Coaster's!)

Log onto

Your user name is your Wellness Advocate/Member number.
Your enroller sent this to you in an email when you enrolled in membership.
If you need this number, it is located in the emails that have been sent to you from doTERRA. You can also contact your membership enroller or doTERRA Customer Service at 1-800-411-8151

On the home page there will be a box on the right side “Scheduled LRP orders”.
Click on the order # box under the “edit” heading.

Choose the oils you would like to order.
You can do this by clicking on the "shop" tab on the top of the page or by typing the item you want into the "Quick Add To Cart" box in your shopping cart.

There is a column in the order form that asks “Use Points?” with a drop down box to choose that option for that product. You will need to select that option for all of the products you wish you pay for with points. *NOTE* If you want to collect on commissions or earn promotions/incentives, your PV (personal volume) must meet the requirements for commissions (100PV) or the promotion/incentive (ie... 100PV for first LRP order, 125 for Product of the Month, 200PV for free Frankincense in December).

When you are done selecting items, click “continue”.

Double check the items in your cart (making sure points are being used and not your credit card) and select “Process Order Now”.
