Making Positive Connections
Please join the Rex E. Lee Law Society and the Lambda Law Alliance for a town hall style discussion in which professors and students will share their experiences and aspirations for respect and friendship among members of seemingly incompatible groups.
Some LGBT individuals and Mormons may perceive each other with suspicion and even hostility, but that has no place in a community of trust. Regardless of whether you identify as Mormon or LGBT, we hope you will come participate in this discussion on how to promote understanding, respect, and friendship among diverse student groups at UVa Law.
Professors Anne Coughlin, Barbara Armacost, and Douglas Laycock will be helping to lead the discussion.
